about

This is another love song, for love is the wellspring that gives meaning to our dreary lives. This song is about the body of a headless prostitute that washes up on the shore near a lighthouse close to Ecuador. The lighthouse keeper who lives there immediately falls in love with the decapitated belle and she moves in with him. He becomes so preoccupied with her that he fails his duties a lighthouse keeper and many ships sink into the waves. Alas, love rarely lasts an eternity, and he becomes bored of her as her putrid corpse begins to decay.
