about

With certain band members coming and going to different parts of the world, “Are You There, God? It’s Me, Bad Uncle” is an album featuring two different versions of the band. This recording marks the Bad Uncle debut of Johnny Slapper and his contrabass as well as the sliding over of Ram Krishnan from bass to drums. Recorded in a basement apartment on St. Joseph street in Montreal, and tracked on a Tascam digital multi-tracker, this album truly captures the band’s transition from grubby basement band to… still a grubby basement band.

Now a vicious 4-piece, Bad Uncle has 6 albums under their belt and is still available for children's birthday parties and Chinese buffets. ... more
